Earl Dannie Lewis, age 66, of Wabash Avenue, Buckhannon, died Thursday, January 24, 2019, at his home. He was born on August 15, 1952, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Earl F. “Jack” and Lottie Mae Hanifan Lewis. On May 20, 1972, he was united in marriage to Carolyn Louise Tenney Lewis, who survives.

Also surviving are one son Lorne Lynn Lewis and wife Glenda of Buckhannon; six grandchildren: Alexis Joy Lewis, Xylia Mae Lewis, Keagon Lewis, Alisha Maubach, Robert Maubach, and Mike Maubach; one sister Hilda McNaughton of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter Lola Louise Lewis Maubach, one granddaughter Christina Marie Maubach, sister and brother-in-law Fay Lewis Ware and Larry Ware, and brother-in-law Donald McNaughton. Mr. Lewis loved to be in the outdoors, especially camping.
