He loved to have these loved ones together Christmas Eve with a busy house full of love, mayhem and memories of him on a guitar or just a’singing. He asked us to put a warm, loving goodbye to his friends at the Church of Christ and Jason and Erica Bailey. Earl grew up in McClain, PA with his 12 siblings, Father Richard E. Knost and Mother, Lucy Moore.

They spent their days fishing and bowling. Later in life, he took a great interest in traveling and motorcycling. He was always helping others, providing his wisdom from our world and the bible, as well as surprising all of us with his jokes and good spirit.

He held many careers, his most notable in real estate, truck driving and Sargent E-5 in the Orlando U.S. Army Reserve. His favorite accolade in his own words: “Raising great children; everything they own, they earned”. Arrangement Information: Viewing will be held at South Bumby Church of Christ, 3940 S. Bumby Ave, Orlando, FL 32806 beginning at 12:00 pm.

Service will be held at the same location beginning at 1:00 pm. We will be escorted from the service to the burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734). Service at the Memorial site will begin around 3:00 pm.

Family and friends are invited to a potluck celebration of Earl’s life after the burial. For address and information, please contact Alyssa at 407-818-3289. Please include your full name in your text message or via phone so that we know how to serve you best.

We ask for everyone to bring a little something to share as we join together in this final hoorah. (Unfortunately cannot provide refrigeration to store from the beginning of the viewing to the time of the potluck nor the ability to heat up items once at the house. We’re very sorry about this.

) Since this is a Floridian summer, please bring an umbrella just in case, if you choose to attend the burial. For Wheelchair Accessibility: There is a small 5-inch curb onto the cemetery area. Manual chairs should have no problem.

For motorized wheelchairs that might need assistance, please consider bringing a small ramp or asking for assistance up on the curb. Flowers: We greatly appreciate your desire to provide flowers. We also understand that to respect his wishes, we have made arrangements very quickly, making ordering of flowers difficult for some.

If you would like to provide something in memory for Earl in lieu of flowers, please donate to American Heart Association in his name.
