Earl L. Flom, 84, of Fredonia found peace on April 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Earl was born on January 25, 1934 in Iron Mountain, MI to the late Oscar and Thelma Flom (nee Jones). On August 6, 1960 he was united in marriage to Ida M. Jandrt at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Boyd, WI.

Earl honorably served in the Army overseas in France from 1955 to 1958. He was a champion gardener and an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He looked forward to family reunions with his brothers and sisters.

He enjoyed playing Sheepshead, completing jigsaw puzzles and casual road trips to sight see and visit National Parks. Those Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife Ida of 57 years; children, Patrick (Cathy) Flom of Loves Park, IL, Kurt (Gail) Flom of Random Lake, LuAnn Seefeldt of Menomonee Falls, Thomas Flom of Fredonia, Leslie (Dennis) Backhaus of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Ashley Flom of Chicago, IL, Nathan Flom of Jacksonville, FL, Trish Troedel of Fond du Lac, Tyler Flom of Random Lake, Shawn (Lerin) Flom of Madison, Nicole (Michael) Troedel Broome of Riverview, FL, Bryar Flom of Hampton, VA, Lacey (Joshua) Goodman of Hampton, VA. Further survived by sister, Doris (Lloyd) Cota of Green Bay and brother, Aaron (Rita) Flom of Oak Creek; sister-in-law, Marlene Flom of Green Bay and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by sister, Eleanor Rutger and brothers, Norman Flom, Robert Flom and John Flom. Memorial Services for Earl will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave in Kewaskum with Dan Schroeder officiating. Earl’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Earl’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the care they provided. The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home of Kewaskum have been entrusted with Earl’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.
