Earl “Lincoln” Holcombe Jr., 51, of Cornelia, died Thursday October 11, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Holcombe had lived in Habersham County for most of his life. He was employed at Mt.

Vernon Mills, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Heather Pressley Holcombe, Cornelia; sons, Austin Holcombe and Cooper Holcombe, both of Cornelia; mother and step-father, Jannell and Allen Leonard, Lexington; sister, Christi Orr, Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Tere and Tim Pohlkamp, Acworth; half-sister and husband, Mareesa and Wesley Mitchell, Jefferson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Danny and Vicki Pressley, Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Luke and Lori Pressley, Cleveland; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Holcombe is preceded in death by his father, Earl Lincoln Holcombe, Sr., and brother-in-law, Justin Pressley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday October 14, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Peck, Rev.

Jonathan Echols and Michael Roberts will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
