Mr. Earl Pogue, 69, of Hazel Green, passed away on Monday morning at his home surrounded by his loving family. Earl was a hard worker and went to work every day to support his family. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.

He loved his country, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his dog, Chica. He was an avid Alabama football fan and was a proud supporter of the Republican party. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie Lou & James William Pogue; His sister, Margie Mae Hill; His brother, John William Pogue; His brother, Ronald Wayne Pogue; His sister, Patricia Ann Pogue.

Surviving family members include his daughters: Patricia Bradford, Sheryl (Nick) Colbert, and Traci (Mikie) Ricketts; His grandchildren: Christopher Bradford, Michael Bradford, Blake Pogue, Alex Bradford, Ariel Knight, Stephanie Bradford, Dallas Colbert, Andrew Ricketts, Bryan Ricketts, Cory Ricketts, Dustin Ricketts, and Easton Ricketts; His great-grandchildren: Collin Knight and Anastin Knight; His brothers: Floyd Edward Pogue, James Pogue, Charles Ray Pogue; His sisters: Joyce Marie Boles, Mary Lou Pendergraft, Linda Gayle Moon, and Barbara Lee Peeler. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8pm. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Benny Berry officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Vann Town, Tennessee. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
