Mrs. Doris Scott, 94, of Taft, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday at Millennium Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed spending time outside working in her yard, working at Scott’s Orchard, and working as the school secretary at HIghland Rim Elementary School for several years.

Doris was a Christian and a member of Unity Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady L. Scott; Her parents, Garland & Mamie Henderson; Her sister, Lenore Delap; Her brother, Claude Henderson; Her great-grandson, Hayden Hammons. Surviving family members include her son, Ronald (Linda) Scott; Her daughter, Judy (Larry) Mullins; Her grandchildren: Patrick Scott, Amy (Justin) Harwell, and Angie (Jeremy) Jewell; Her great-grandchildren: Baylee (Jake) Taylor and Maycee Hammons.

Graveside services will be Sunday at 2pm at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville with Bro. Wayne Harvell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hayden C. Hammons Scholarship Fund; P.O. Box 116; Fayetteville, TN 37334.
