OBITUARY Earlene Helen Askew November 17, 1928 – July 11, 2018 Earlene Askew, 89, of Fort Worth, TX passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at a local nursing facility. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born in West, TX on November 17, 1928 to Emil A and Selma Fritsch Holacka.

She graduated from Abbott High School in Abbott TX . Class of ‘46. She was a member of Saint Michael Catholic Church in Bedford TX.

She loved to cook and bake and spend time with her granddaughter. She loved road trips with her husband and friends. Earlene was also involved with the Trinity High School booster club, where her sons were involved in sports.

Survivors include her sons Richard J. Askew Jr. and his wife Maria Askew of Fort Worth, TX. Kelly M. Askew of Fort Worth TX. Her Granddaughter Stormy R. Askew of Fort Worth TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Joseph Askew Sr. and her Daughter Dana M. Askew. A Funeral Service will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. , Colleyville, TX 76034.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills. Burial will follow the service at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. If you wish to send floral condolences in honor of Earlene, you may call Dr. Delphinium Designs and Events, 214-525-1284.
