Obituary for Mrs. Earline Davis Mrs. Earline Owens Davis was born on January 25, 1942 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the later Tommy Lee Owens and the late Wylene Knighton. Earline transitioned from her earthly home on Friday, September 21, 2018 at her residence in Albany, Georgia. She was a member of Greater Newton Grove Cathedral where she was a member of the choir.

She enjoyed fishing, walking, gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Willie Burks; and three brothers, Earl Owens, Willie Lee Owens and Willie J. Owens. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 21 years, Jerry Maurice Davis, Jr. of Albany, Georgia; five sons, Bobby Burks of Albany, Georgia, Anthony Burks and Darryl Burks both of Cairo, Georgia, Charlie Burks of Dooly County, Georgia and Christopher Burks of Moultrie, Georgia; five daughters, Margaret Burks and Yvone Edge both of Albany, Georgia, Shirley Burks of Tallahassee, Florida, Teresa Newsome (Muhammed) of Albany, Georgia and Monica Burks of Cairo, Georgia; four brothers, Johnny Owens of Cape Cod, Florida, Jimmy Lee Owens (Gloria) of Moultrie, Georgia, David Lee Owens of Tallahassee, Florida, and Tommie Lee Owens of Thomasville, Georgia; five sisters, Amy Gene Edwards of Warner Robins, Georgia, Diane Hightower of Tallahassee, Florida, Jewel Allen (Lloyd) and Jeanette Porter (Archie) both of Moultrie, Georgia and Rosa Spradley of Thomasville, Georgia; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; special friends, Hattie and special pet, Crème; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
