Earnest’s Obituary Earnest Guy Dingle, Jr. left this earth Friday, May 17, 2019, with a wave goodbye to his wife, Dian and his friends as his journey ended, his race was done. Although his accomplishments were many, it really doesn’t matter where he was born or went to school. What matters is that he was a loving husband and an honest man.

His pleasures in life were his wife and friends, both while volunteering at Sports Car Club of America’s events or flying their hot air balloon, Shadowfax or just spending time with friends. He would tell you to live every moment with zest and courage and if necessary a will to fight a disease that ravaged him for nine years. Do not fear a colonoscopy.

It may save your life and give you a few more years with those you love. At his request there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be held in the future.

In lieu of flowers, if you so choose his charities of choice would be Bob Woodruff Foundation, 1350 Broadway, Suite 905, New York, New York 10018 or the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street, Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30303.
