Eddie Dewayne Ellis March 19, 1959 – February 19, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Eddie Dewayne Ellis, age 59, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home. He was born March 19, 1959 in Bentonville, Arkansas, the son of James and Kathryn (Keene) Ellis, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were one brother, Roger Ellis and one grandson, Sawyer.

Surviving are two daughters, Sabrina Rivera and her husband Christopher of Huntsville, Arkansas and Aliyah Ellis of Washburn, Missouri; one sister, Verna Lewis and her husband James of Washburn, Missouri and five grandchildren, Austin, Emmaline, Lettie, Alexander and Willow Rivera. Eddie grew up in Washburn where he graduated from Southwest High School. One of his favorite classes while in high school was Drama.

For several years he was employed as a lead man at Fasco. He was married to Deborah Ellis and raised their daughter Sabrina and cared for several children throughout his lifetime. Eddie was a lifelong musician.

He played his electric bass guitar in honky-tonks, churches, and everywhere in between. He loved guns, hunting, riding horses, and motorcycles. His favorite pastime was playing music.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Washburn First Baptist Church in Washburn. Pastor Glenn Erwin and Pastor Jim Erwin will conduct the services. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
