Obituary for Eddy Ray Volpp Eddy Ray Volpp passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2018, at the age of 69 years. He was born February 2, 1949 to Arthur and Doris Volpp. Eddy will forever be remembered by his wife of 20 years, Nancy Volpp of Arlington, his brother, Gary Volpp, his two sons Bryan (Rose) Volpp and Jason (Jeanette) Volpp and his two daughters Michelle (Andy) Do and Tracy (Jancin) Stewart.

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Eddy attended the Culver Military Academy. Eddy graduated from Southport High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from high school, Eddy began his career in airlines industry at Transworld Airlines and retired as Crew Chief of American Airlines.

After retirement, Eddy volunteered and worked with several local organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Eddy volunteered with Arlington Police Department and worked as a customer service representative with the Texas Rangers baseball team. A Celebration of Eddy’s life will be held between 4pm and 8pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Greenwood Funeral Homes, Arlington Chapel, 1221 East Division Street, Arlington, Texas.

Eddy was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorials: In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www. stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.
