Obituary for Edith Louise Whittaker McAdams Edith Louise Whittaker McAdams, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Inman Healthcare. Born July 3, 1933, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Marion Wittaker and Callie Bell Wilkie Whittaker and widow of William Travis McAdams. Mrs. McAdams was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday School Class.

She retired from Stone Manufacturing. Survivors include her daughters, Edie Martin (Daniel) of Cross Hill, SC and Linda Mitchell (Donnie) of Inman, SC; three granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Joyce Hook of West Columbia, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306, with funeral services following at 12:00 noon, conducted by Pastor Dylan Styles. Burial will be in Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1421 Reidville Sharon Rd. , Greer, SC 29651.
