Obituary for Edith Louise Williams Edith Louise Williams, 58 of Johnston City, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with her loving family by her side. Louise was born September 15, 1960 in Christopher to William and Betty (Elam) Barrell. She married Danny Lee Williams on June 5, 1998 in Royalton.

Together they have shared 20 years of marriage. Louise was a pharmacy tech with Walmart in Herrin and Benton before her health began to fail. She was previously a nurse at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Herrin Hospital, and Union Hospital in West Frankfort.

She was a member of the Family Church of God in Zeigler. Louise enjoyed camping, cooking out, fishing and spending time with her family. She loved playing with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Danny of Johnston City; three sons, Terry (Heidi Bybee) Gunter, Larry (Kathy) Gunter and Gary Gunter all of West Frankfort; four grandchildren, Landon and Logan Gunter of Perryville, MO and Finley and Avery Gunter of West Frankfort; brother Wayne (Tammy) Barrell of Stanley, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Clyde Barrell. Celebration of life services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday February 2, 2019 at the Family Church of God in Zeigler with Br.

Denny Bush officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements, Memorial contributions may be made to Pyle Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
