Edith “Lucille” Elsea October 29, 1926 – December 17, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Edith “Lucille” Elsea, 92, of Centerton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton. She was born October 27, 1926 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Robert Lee and Marth Alice (Shipp) Cooper. She married Robert Andrew Elsea on March 14, 1944.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Nathan; sister, Geraldine Elsea; brother, Arlin Cooper; and her parents. Lucille worked at home on the farm and gardened until 1986, when she went to work at Krispy Kitchen in Bentonville. She retired from there in 2001.

In her later years, she enjoyed quilting, working word search puzzles, studying her Bible and spending time with family. She was a member of Hiwasse First Baptist Church of Hiwasse, Arkansas. Lucille is survived by her daughters, Helen Wylie (Glen) of Gravette and Gladys Williamson (Don) of Bentonville; her son, Dennis Elsea (Stacy) of Farmington; six grandchildren, four step grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, eight step great-grandchildren; and many friends, including the special friends who loved and cared for her during her time at Apple Creek Health and Rehab.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8, December 20th at Bella Vista Funeral Home in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Graveside service (at Lucille’s request) with Bro. Bob Metcalf officiating, will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse, AR, on Friday morning at 10:30, December 21st.
