Obituary for Edith “Nana” Payson Edith “Nana” Payson, 100, passed away on Sunday, December 02, 2018 at Cranbury Center in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Mrs. Payson was born April 24, 1918 in Manhattan, New York to the late Harry and Dora (Kaminsky) Frank. She lived in Piscataway, NJ for 26 years before moving to Monroe Township, NJ.

She worked as a homemaker but also was an interior decorator. Nana was loved by all who knew her. She loved to cook, shop and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Edith will be greatly missed by many. Mrs. Payson was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Max Payson and her sister, Mildred Hirsh and her brother, Herman Frank. She is survived by her daughter, Francine “Bunny” and her husband Bill Darman; her son, Fred and his wife Shari Payson; her five grandchildren, Douglas, Drew, Danny, Carrie and Marc; her six great grandchildren, Claire, Isabella, Mackenzie, Kaycie, Kaylie and Charlotte and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday,November 4th at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873.
