OBITUARY Edmundo Abellonio September 10, 1941 – December 8, 2018 Edmund Abellonio of New City, NY, 77 years old, passed away peacefully in his home on December 8, 2018. Edmund was a longtime resident of New City. He was born on September 10th, 1941 to Maria and Angelo Abellonio.

He married his wife Judith in 1971. He worked at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx for 44 years until his retirement in 2003. He is survived by his wife Judith, his sons Michael (Silvana) of New City, NY and Andrew (Lynn) of Chester, NY and his grandchildren Isabella, Andrew Jr, Julie and Nicole Abellonio.

He is also survived by his sister Emma Kordecki of Whiting, NJ. Family will hold a memorial Mass on Tuesday December 11, at 10am, at St. Augustine’s Church in New City, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
