Edward Clay England age 84 passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Life Care Center of Sparta Mr. England was born in Sparta, TN July 6, 1934 to Alpha England and Della Rice England. Mr. England served our country in the United States Army 1960 till 1964. After his service he enjoyed farming, church and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Carl England. He is survived by his wife Joyce Hall Melton England; son and wife, Karl and Cindy England; brother, Alpha Eugene England and wife Arleen; grandson, Joshua England; stepsons, Gentry Melton and wife Zarita, and Keith Melton and wife Rachel; step grandsons, Preston Melton and Kelby Melton; step granddaughter, Olivia Drennan. Arrangements: The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

at Thurman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro.

Steve Gerhart and Alpha Eugene England. Interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers, Keith Melton, Kelby Melton, Joshua England, Leonard England, Simeon England, Stewart England and Preston Melton.
