Edward E. Taylor, 62, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marquita (Blais) Taylor. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Chester and Lydia (LeFebvre) Taylor.

Edward was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Jason E. Taylor and his wife Michaela; his daughters, Melissa J. Blais and Courtney L. Jusino, and her husband Javier; a brother, David Taylor; four sisters, Sheila Dickson, Denise Houle, Gail Oliveira and Renee Paquette, and the love of his life, his granddaughter, Stella Jusino. His funeral will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Visiting hours Sunday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston, RI 02905.
