Edward Elmore July 28, 1932 – April 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Edward Elmore, 86, of 90 Leas St., Milton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Brian Center Eden, NC. Born July 28, 1932 in Caswell County, NC, he was the son of the late Roy and Katie McCain Elmore. He was married to the late Evelyn Hamlett Elmore.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Garland (Larry) of Wake Forest, NC; three grandsons, Christopher Garland, Steven Garland and Zachary Grinton all of Wake Forest, NC; one great-granddaughter, Syniah Garland of Durham, NC; two brothers, David Elmore (Daisy) of NC and Robert Elmore (Erma) of Burlington, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one daughter, Jacqueline Grinton. The family will receive friends at the residence.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Preston Medley, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Elmore family.
