Obituary Fernandez, Edward. May 25, 2019. Age 62 of Brownstown.

Loving father of Scott (Kathleen) Fernandez and Linda (Kurt) Garcia. Caring son of Theresa Fernandez. Dear brother of Michael W. Fernandez, Deborah (Michael) Bonello, Gregory (Sally) Fernandez, and Mark (Rachel) Fernandez.

Dearest grandpa of Xavier and Nicolas Garcia. Former loving husband of Maureen Fernandez. Caring uncle to many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ed was preceded in death by his father Michael Fernandez. Ed was an avid U of M and Detroit Tigers fan, as well as a former collegiate fencer. He will be deeply missed by many family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road. (313) 291-1800. The rosary will be held the same evening (*Time Pending*) A Mass of Resurrection will be held the following day, Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. Constance Catholic Church located at 21555 Kinyon St, Taylor, MI 48180.

(*Times Pending*) Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Twp. , MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan in Edward’s honor.
