Obituary for Edward L. Colton WATERFORD Edward L. Colton, 75, formerly of Waterford died October 15, 2018 at the Vermont Veteran’s Home. Born in Bainbridge he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Minnick Colton. He was a graduate of Cohoes High School and of Hudson Valley Community College.

Ed was a self-employed carpenter all of his life. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Viet Nam. He was a soccer enthusiast and was the founder of the Waterford Soccer Club.

He is the father of Dale E. Colton of Waterford and Cindy M. Farrar of Summerville, SC. He is the brother of Larry Colton of Farmington and Kenneth Colton of Syracuse. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Tyler Farrar and Cody Colton.

Committal services were held with military honors at Gerald B H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KA. 66675.
