Edward L. Cox Ashland, AL – Funeral service for Edward L. Cox, 90, will be Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., in the Radney-Smith Chapel, with Bro. John Waites officiating. Burial will be in Mt.

Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton, AL. Mr. Cox passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Clay County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marietta Cox; second wife, Margaret Ward Cox; parents, Albert and Lula Cox; brother, Paul Cox; brother, Billy Adron; and sister, Faylene Scott.

He is survived by his two sons, Jerry Randal (Pamela Jane McGrady) Cox and Marvin Eugene (Rhonda L. Bates) Cox; one daughter, Anita Cox (Marvin Earl) Hayes; 13 grandchildren, Jackie Caittyn, April Dye, Elizabeth Barfield, Cody Cox, Courtney Cox, John Cox, Kimberly Cox, Jordon Cox, Scottlynn Cox, Michele Benefield, Crystal Pauline Hobbs, Lori Douglas, and Tiffany Bates; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anita Lois Fox and Marie Smitherman. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Chuck Baker, Rusty Butler, Parker Dye, Dakota Taylor, Josh Benefield, and John Cox.
