Obituary Applegate, Jr. Edward R. March 27, 2019. Age 96 of Dearborn. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Irene Applegate.

Loving father of Timothy (Rebecca) Applegate, Kimberly (Paul) Scharfenberger, and Edward Raymond Applegate III. Dearest grandfather of Christopher, Matthew, and Amanda. Edward was a WWII veteran, a former Mason, Shriner, and member of the VFW and American Legion.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100 and Eley-McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City, PA.

Interment will take place at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Fayette City, PA. Please share memories and leave condolences on Edward’s guestbook Events Services will be set for a future date to be determined.
