Obituary for Edward S Luksin Edward S. Luksin, 92 Retired head of maintenance at Carborundum and a World War II Veteran. March 22, 1926- October 9, 2018 Edward Stanley Luksin entered into rest October 9, 2018, surrounded by family. A devoted husband and father a WWII Veteran in the United States Army.

Edward enjoyed a beautiful retirement with his wife Joan, spending summers at their cottage in Canada. An avid fisherman and an all-around jack of all trades. Edward could fix anything that needed fixing and would help anyone that needed help.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan (nee Schwartz) Luksin, two daughters and their husbands, Holly (Dave) Rankie and Sharon (Bruce) Barber; 4 grandchildren, William Pierson, Ryan Pierson, Charity Sheedy and Aaron Rankie; 4 great grandchildren, Gwyneth Pierson, Gabrielle Pierson, Gordon Pierson and Cora Rankie. Visitation Thursday (October 18, 2018) from 4 to 8 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, where Funeral Services and Military Honors will be held Friday (October 19, 2018) at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.
