Edward T. Urbaniak, 54 of Scottdale died early Tuesday morning, January 22, 2019, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born June 7, 1964 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Mary V. Kurzeja Urbaniak of Greensburg and the late Edward W. Urbaniak, who died April 18, 2009.

Ed was a graduate of Geibel High School Class of 1982. He then attended Shadyside School of Nursing where he earned his Nursing Degree. .

He was employed as a registered nurse and case manager at Westmoreland Manor for 30 years. Ed was a member of the Polish American Club of Everson. He loved to golf and travel.

Most of all, Ed enjoyed spending time with his family. Ed is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In addition to his Mother, Mary V. Kurzeja Urbaniak, Ed is survived by; His loving and devoted wife of 24 years, Brenda L. Paulisick-Urbaniak, whom he married, January 6, 1995; His daughter: Crystal L. Snyder and husband Thomas of Latrobe His Grandchildren: Tommy and Luke Snyder His Siblings: Marianne Daniels and husband Larry of Greensburg Frank Urbaniak and wife Amy of Slippery Rock His Brother-In-Laws and Sister-In-Laws: William Paulisick and wife Valerie of Export Linda Michelson and husband Adam of Nevada Scott Rupnik and wife Andrea of Murrysville Mark Rupnik and wife Kristi of Hempfield Susan Ticson and husband Adam of Bethlehem, Pa.

Ed’s family cordially invites his family and friends to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 2PM -8PM.
