Edwina Ann Fram age 93 of Chagrin Falls passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019. Edwina was born on December 23rd, 1925 to Edward and Katherine Cummings, She graduated from Warren Harding High School and attended Mary Washington College. She met the love of her life Forrest who owned Fram Gas.

They met when he sponsored her radio show “Edwina Sings”. They married in December of 1956 and took up residence on Walters Rd. in Chagrin Falls.

In 1959 they presented the world with their only son, Ford. Edwina spent 2 years as the mayors wife and she had a nursery school at home. On October 1st, 1971 she then became “The Brass Shoppe Lady” on East Washington St. It was a total family affair even after Forrest passed away in 1982 Edwina continued in the business with her son Ford and in 2004 Edwina decided it was time to retire.

Edwina was the grandmother of 2 great boys, and is survived by her son Ford, his wife Janice (nee Minerd) and grandsons Bradford and Tyler. In lieu of flowers the family would like to create a memory book, any memory of your time or experience with Edwina would be greatly welcomed, you may send these to the Funeral Home. The family will be looking into sharing this memory book with friends and family at a later date.
