Obituary for Edythe Elliston Green Sesnick WESTWORTH VILLAGE – Edythe Elliston Green Sesnick passed away peacefully, September 2, 2018. Honoring her wishes a private graveside service was conducted for the immediate family. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, to honor her life with a bequest to a charity of choice, will be appreciated.

Edythe was born in Dallas, Texas, September 25, 1922 to Harvey and Cleo Elliston and became a lifetime resident of Fort Worth at a very early age. She loved dancing in all forms and continued dancing for most of her life. She married the love of her life, Howard Nelson Green, a poplar vocalist in 1947, and were proud parents of two wonderful sons, Steve and Tim.

Sadly Howard passed away seven years after their marriage. Thirty years later Edythe married John Sesnick and they spent 20 years together, traveling and enjoying retirement until he too passed away. They were long time members of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Edythe was preceded in death by her two husbands; her beloved son, Steve; her parents; a brother; a sister; and a nephew. The family would like to extend a heart full “thank you” to Manuela Ramirez and Sonja Rajic for their care and devotion to Edythe. Survivors: Son, Tim; niece, Marilyn Moore; sister, Helen Adams; nephew, Mike Felker and wife, Julia of Tyler; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
