Obituary for Eileen B Michalewicz (Brown) Eileen (Brown) Michalewicz, 97, of Windsor Locks, CT, beloved wife of 60 years to the late Henry “Mike” J. Michalewicz, peacefully passed away at her home on Sunday, November 18, 2018. She was born on June 5, 1921, daughter of the late John and Katherine (Laughlin) Brown. Eileen enjoyed a long career of 30 years as an executive secretary for Hamilton Standard.
In her free time, she enjoyed travel and spending time with family. She was a master knitter and a devoted member of St. Mary Church. Eileen is survived by her seven children, Mark Michalewicz and his wife, Ann Peterson of Gaithersburg, MD, Brian Michalewicz and his wife, Kim of Granby, CT, John Michalewicz and his wife, Sue of Windsor Locks, CT, JoAnn Clark and her husband, Dr. William Clark of Ellington, CT, Steven Michalewicz and his wife, Muriel of CA, Paul of Laguna Beach, CA and Kathryn Michalewicz and her husband, Jason Vaillancourt of Boston, MA; six grandchildren, Amanda, Olivia, Nathan, Heidi, Steven and Jessica Michalewicz, and her great grandchild, Charlotte Thompson.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Eileen on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 South Elm St., Windsor Locks at 10:00 am. Please meet at the church.
