Elaine LeBaron died January 14, 2019. She was born April 17, 1919 in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her family moved to Tempe in 1929.

In 1938 she married Theo LeBaron. Elaine attended Tempe Grammar School and graduated from Tempe High School and Arizona State University. She taught 24 years at Broadmor Elementary School.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a temple worker and in the Primary and Relief Society auxiliaries. She is survived by her son, Dr. Steven LeBaron, her daughter, Vicki Gibbons and grandchildren Gerry Anderson (Greg), Chase Gibbons (Paige), John Gibbons (Kristin), Courtney Peterson (Jon), and great-grandchildren, Casey, Davis and Gage Anderson, Austin and Logan Gibbons, Kylie Gibbons, and Spencer, McKenzie and Aubrey Peterson. A private celebration of Elaine’s life is planned.
