She was the wife of Charles E. Rowlands to whom she was married 67 years last October 20. Born in Slatington, September 22, 1931, Elaine was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Evelyn Mae (Krause) Fenstermacher.

She was a member of The United Presbyterian Church of Slatington. Survivors: In addition to her husband; daughters, Susan E. Benninger and her husband, Wayne and Janice M. Sears, both of Northampton; sister, Lois J. Weber of Northampton; grandchildren, Jeremy A. Dogmanits, Jill M. Dogmanits, Brad W. Benninger, Ryan C. Benninger; predeceased by a sister, Doris E. Dieter. Service: Funeral services will be held 11:00 am.

Thursday, January 10, 2019 in the United Presbyterian Church, 6750 PA Route 873, Slatington. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Thursday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.
