Jean Husack November 03, 1925 – January 04, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Jean (Bachman) Husack, 93, of Durham, NC, formerly of Schnecksville, PA, died Friday, January 4, 2019 in the home of her son, Chris F. Husack of Durham, NC. Born in Schnecksville, November 3, 1925, Jean was the daughter of the late George F. and Perma A. (Schneck) Bachman. She was employed as a legislative aide for former State Representative Paul W. Semmel in Schnecksville for 6 years before retiring in 1996.

Prior to that, she worked for Royal Eckert, Inc. in Allentown for 20 years as a secretary and Union United Church of Christ, Neffs for 20 years as secretary, recording secretary and treasurer. Jean formerly held the office of Treasurer of the Schnecksville Grange # 1684 where she volunteered her time in many grange activities. She was a member of Community Fire Co. #1, Schnecksville.

Survivors: Sons, Jeffrey C. Husack (Cheryl) of Slatington, Howard A. Husack of Macungie, Chris F. Husack (Tiffany) of Durham, NC; sister, Althea A. Grim of Whitehall; brother, Alton A. Bachman (Shirley) of Allentown; grandchildren, Cameron Husack, Emily Bortner (Evan), Jennifer McGrath (Michael), Jonathan Husack, Maxwell Husack; great grandchildren, Molly and Olivia McGrath; step great grandchild, Kaylee Bortner; predeceased by a daughter, Ruth J. Andrews Dickinson and brothers, Willard G. Bachman and Donald P. Bachman. Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 am. Friday, January 11, 2019 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev.

Larry E. Yeakel officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www. heintzelmancares.com.
