Life Story for Elaine V. Robbins ELAINE V. ROBBINS, 87 of Delta, PA died on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Hart Heritage Estates, Street, MD. Born on July 20, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, she was the only child of Milton E. and Louise (Tusek) Smith. Adventurous was the best word to capture the spirit of Elaine.

She worked as a payroll administrator for Baltimore Gas & Electric while being a single parent. She was a traveler visiting Canada to see the Rockies, Alaska, Hawaii in addition to nearly all 50 states. Some of her remarkable journeys included a helicopter tour of the Alaskan glaciers, a hot air balloon ride at the Arizona Hot Air Balloon Festival, riding a mule into the Grand Canyon followed by water rafting the Colorado River.

On the day she passed, her son remarked that he saw a single bird flying off in the sky turn and fly directly over him. He then knew in his heart, her spirit was free. She is survived by: A son, Richard W. Robbins and his wife, Lori of Delta, PA A grandson, Matthew R. Robbins A great granddaughter, Brooklyn M. Robbins.
