Obituary for Kenneth Lee Keys KENNETH LEE KEYS, 69 of Bel Air, MD died on Sunday, December 23, 2018. Born on October 19, 1949 in Herndon, VA, he was a son of the late Otis and Edna Mae (Hackler) Keys. Mr. Keys had attended North Harford High School in Pylesville, MD and graduated from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School, Baltimore, MD in 1967.
Currently employed as a facilities manager, he had been with the Town of Bel Air for the past 17 years. He was a member of Delta Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed fishing, politics and was an avid Corvette admirer. He is survived by: Two children- Melissa Cormier and her husband, Paul of Myrtle Beach, SC Joseph Keys and his wife, Kimberley of Louisville, KY Two sisters- Deborah Reed and her husband, Ted of Thompson Station, TN Lisa Thompson and her husband, David of Spring Hill, TN Two grandchildren- Jacob Crochunis and his wife, Lauren of Kingsland, GA; Carlee Crochunis of Plant City, FL; two great grandchildren- Charlotte and Cameron Crochunis Extended family members include: Amy Beavers and her husband, Brian of Bel Air, MD Eric Gable of Los Angeles, CA Grandchildren: Sarah Hill and Selena Beavers; great grandchildren- Raven Walter and Syrus Hill He was preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Keys.
The services will be held at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. followed with the funeral on Saturday at 10 a.m. Reverend Howard J. Cilento of Ashland Wesleyan Church will officiate. Interment will be held in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
