Funeral services for Elbert Kimsey, age 86 of Baldwin, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Billy Burrell will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Kimsey passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Born in Habersham County on July 29, 1932, Mr. Kimsey was the son of the late Gordon and Vestel Gibbs Kimsey. Mr. Kimsey was retired from Mt.

Vernon Mills where he worked in the weave room. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kimsey is preceded in death by sister Verdina Meister and brothers Albert Kimsey and Clarence Kimsey. Survivors include daughter and son in law Debra Ann and Walter Galloway of Cornelia, son and daughter in law Leon and Amanda Kimsey of Toccoa, grandchildren Matthew, James, Lee and Blake, as well as five great grandchildren.
