OBITUARY Elcy Eble Daussat September 9, 1917 – October 28, 2018 Elcy Louise Eble Daussat passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Waldo Joseph Daussat of 65 years. Mother of Robert (Miriam), Waldo “Buddy” Jr. (Martha) and Mary Louise Daussat.

Grandmother of Jo-Ann Daussat Moore, Thomas (Stephanie), David (Lura) and Michelle Daussat-Todd (Brett). Great-grandmother to Jack, Leo, Elcy, and Andrew Daussat. Mrs. Daussat was preceded in death by her parents Edward John Eble and Louise Cecile Lynch, her sisters Lucille Champagne, Carolyn “Maggie” Levy, Mary Eastin and her great-granddaughter Ainsley Daussat.

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Daussat was a devout Catholic, a recipient of The Order of the St. Louis IX medallion, and a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Special thanks to Delta Home Health and Ameracare Hospice for their compassionate care of our mother.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Friday, November 2, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Ursuline Academy or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be appreciated.
