Obituary for Elda Templet Alleman Elda Templet Alleman, 92, a native of Pierre Part and resident of Theriot passed away on April 21, 2018. A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at St. Eloi Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM at the church.

Interment will be in St. Eloi Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Clenese “Sonny” Alleman Jr. (Tami) and Gary Alleman (Annette); daughters, Jo Ann Olivier (Elton), Marylin Porche (Glenn), Melva Kelpsch (Dale), Valarie Porche, Ella Rhodes (Bryan), and Elda Glover (Ernest); daughter-in-law, Lynne Alleman; sisters, Regina Templet and Odile Mabile; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clenese Alleman Sr.; parents, Eddie and Valerie Crochet Templet; son, Alton Alleman; son-in-law, Barry Porche; brothers, Hemley and Laury Templet; grandchild, Joshua Glover.

She was a dedicated mother who loved her family the most. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church where she attended mass daily, sewed the Baptismal Gowns, and cleaned and pressed the church linens for many years. She was also a member of the St. Eloi Ladies Altar Society, KC Ladies Auxiliary, a bible study group and played cards with the “Cackling Hens”.
