Eldon Knight resided on the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation where he passed away at home from natural causes on March 5, 2019 at 74 years old. He had many nicknames but the name Big E stuck to him to the end. Left behind are his brother, Cliff Knight (Ibapah, UT), granddaughter, Marian Knight (Ft Belknap, MT), and great grandson, Weldon Knight (Ft Belknap, MT).

Preceded in death are his parents, George and Josephine Knight: his sons, Weldon Knight, Myron Knight, M. George Knight, and A. Wade Knight; and siblings Dora Knight, Vivian Knight, Shirley Greymountain, and Leslie knight all preceded in death. In younger years, Eldon primarily worked as a rancher and/or farming in Idaho and Utah. He also went to a technical school for auto mechanics.

Eldon loved his traditional ways and was a talented singer of Circle Dance Shoshone songs. Eldon’s funeral service will be held at the Goshute Tribal Community Building in Ibapah, UT on March 16, 2019. The Knight family extends appreciation to all those who are helping, donating and/or supporting our family with prayers and heartfelt condolences.
