OBITUARY Eleanor D. Jackson August 5, 1928 – July 18, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Eleanor Dolores Jackson, 89, was born in Tampa, Florida to Harold and Justine Spring. She was married to Burton Toombs Jackson for 44 years. Eleanor is survived by her two children; Lorie Glenn Jackson (Julie) and Wendy Colleen Hernandez (Robert); five grandchildren, Bryan Whidden (Heidi) of Houston, TX, Glenn Jackson of Tampa, FL and Brian Jackson (Christine) of St. Petersburg, FL; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Connor Whidden of Houston, TX.

Eleanor attended Hillsborough High School and was a graduate of the University of Tampa. She was employed by the Sunbank of Tampa where she worked as a Supervisor for nearly 35 years. Eleanor was a gracious lady who loved to entertain her family and friends.

She loved her sports and would converse with the most avid football and basketball fans about the latest stats and forecasts. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach with family and would spend quiet time with her favorite books and crossword puzzles. The holidays were Eleanor’s favorite time of the year.

She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
