Eleanor Elizabeth Wolfe, 100, of Carlisle, and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. Daughter of the late Carl S. and Alice Hess Miller, she was born on January 26, 1918, In Harrisburg. Eleanor was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, and had a passion for animals; she spent much of her time caring for and playing with her dog and cat.

She was preceded in death by her… Read More » husband, Richard L. Wolfe; two sisters, Marjorie Krebs and Betty Geiling; and a brother, Earl Miller. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. At the convenience of the family, a private graveside service will be held at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.
