Gost, Eleanor K., 88, of Westmont, died May 2. 2018 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born in Johnstown on April 5, 1930, daughter of the late Valentine and Priscilla (Turoczy) Erdley.

Preceded in death by husband John to whom she was married for 49 years; stillborn daughter Christine, sisters Ann Spenik and Janet Rillo, and Clara Blough, brothers Paul and William. Survived by daughter Patricia Rubinstein (Adam), Rockville, MD and son John, Jr., Johnstown. Also survived by granddaughter, Sarah Rubinstein; brother Robert Erdley and cousins Helen Law and Charlotte MacMurdo, both of Johnstown.

Eleanor was a member of the former St. John’s United Church of Christ. She worked for many years at the former Law’s Jewelry Store and United Jewelers in downtown Johnstown, and enjoyed visiting with her daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law. Services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd.

, interment at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cambria County Humane Society.
