Mr. Eli’s Obituary Mr. Eli Jamison, III, was born on November 7, 1967 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina to the late Mr. Eli Mack Jamison, Jr. and Mrs. Retha Bell Roberson Jamison. He slipped away to his eternal home on Thursday evening, December 27, 2018 in Vance, South Carolina, after an untimely and tragic accident. Eli grew up in Vance and attended the public schools of Orangeburg County School District Three.

He was a graduate of Holly Hill-Roberts High School. He was employed for a number of years as a groom of race horses at Holly Hill Training Center. Eli was the only son in a family of ten children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Priscilla Sandy Jamison. Those who remain to remember his legacy and cherish his memory include eight sisters: Theresa (Frank) Martin of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Rose Mary Crawford of Eutawville, South Carolina, Cynthia Crawford of Holly Hill, South Carolina, Vergie Jamison of Ridgeville, South Carolina, Yvonne Jamison and Jacqueline Jamison, both of the home in Vance, South Carolina, Sharon Jamison of Chester, South Carolina, and Lucinda Jamison of St. George, South Carolina; four uncles: John Daniels, Eugene Daniels, William Daniels, and Dallas Daniels; three aunts: Mary Daniels, Della Daniels, and Barbara Gibson; a special friend, Telitta Gibbs; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the residence, 10303 Old Number Six Highway, Vance, South Carolina and at the funeral home.
