Elinor Louise Wilson Black, 88, passed away on January 28, 2019 at her home. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Durant Miles and Virginia Waldrop Wilson, she was a retired textile employee, a homemaker and a member of Washington Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Donald Black of the home; two daughters, Teresa McCreight, (Dan) of Charlottesville, VA and Angie Rhoney (John) of Greer; two sons, Tony Black of Greer and Steve Black (Patsy) of Union Mills, NC; one sister, Joyce Ann Fowler of Greer; eight grandchildren, Kelly Kennedy, Meredith McCreight, Terra Edwards, Tena Johnson, Teri Hannon, Spencer Black, David Black and Maggie Black and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Washington Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Joe Price. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Honorary escort will be the Lou Ellen Barnett Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
