Elizabeth “Betty” J. Geissler February 14, 1939 – December 19, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Elizabeth “Betty” J. Geissler, 79, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her residence. Betty was born February 14, 1939 in Tilden, the daughter of Edwin and Amelia “Molly” (Sokup) Geissler. Betty was a member of St. Peter’s Church.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Betty is survived by two sisters, Ione Ellis of Bloomer and Rosemary Steinmetz of Caledonia; and four sisters-in-law, Kathleen Geissler of Bloomer, Beverly Geissler of Colfax, Rochell (Jim) Lee of Jim Falls and Harriet Geissler of Chippewa Falls; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, twin brother, Thomas, Norbert, Clifford, Ervin, James, Myron and Donnie Geissler; and one sister, Bernice Schindler.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29 at St. Peter’s Church in Tilden. Rev. Msgr.

Michael J. Gorman will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 29 at the church.
