Elizabeth Lankford ran into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at age 73. She is survived by her son, Michael Lankford and daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Polk; three grandchildren, Andrew (Ana) Polk, Laura (Leo) Vargas and Brandon (Melany) Polk; three great grandchildren, Sophia Polk, Emily Vargas and Elena Vargas; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lankford and her son, Johnny Lankford.

Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Village Falls Cemetery.
