Elizabeth Chester (nee Todd) born to Cleveland Todd, Sr. and Hattie Todd (nee Davis) on September 16, 1948. Liz left this world Wednesday, May 16, 2018 suddenly, due to lengthy illness. In her spare time she enjoyed T.V., phone, Westerns on cable, she loved trying different wines and making us all laugh with her laughter and thoughts.

She leaves to her legacy three daughters, Lavena (Lavelle Sr.) Todd of Cleveland, LaTonia Chester of Elyria, Candace Chester (Mike) Frost of Columbus; three sisters, Veronica (Ernest) Cofield of Elyria, Verian Crump of Delaware, Valario Harris of Mansfield; three brothers, Donnie (Mary) Todd of Delaware, Cleveland (Grace) Todd Jr. of Elyria, Caleb (Jennifer) Todd of Florida; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and best friend, William Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Turley Chester Jr.; parents, Cleveland and Hattie Todd; sister, Donna Marie Duncan; two brothers, John Todd and William “PoJo” Breland and nephew, John Robbins Todd. Friends may call on Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Unity Baptist Church, 326 Fuller Road, Elyria from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. The Reverend Willie Gardner will officiate.

Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carter Funeral Homes, Inc. 127 West Bridge St., Elyria, OH 44035.
