Elizabeth “Peggy”‘s Obituary Elizabeth “Peggy” Gattis Proctor, 74, of Dallas, passed away February 9, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 12, 1944 in New Port News, Virginia, the daughter of the late James Thomas Gattis and Eva Jane Hancock Gattis. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Melonia Ellis and husband Brock, Ann Williams and husband Sam, April and husband the late Jeff Jewett; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Proctor Sr.; son, Bobby Gene Proctor Jr.; brothers, Thomas, Danny, Harold, and Albert Lee Gattis; and sisters, Janice Self and Linda Sibley. The family will receive friends 11:00 am – 12:30 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd. , Gastonia.
