Ricky’s Obituary Ricky C. Wright – Ricky Carmen “Fat Cat” Wright, 62, of Gastonia, passed away February 4, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born February 29, 1956, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Kelly William Wright and Margaret Franklin Wright. Ricky was an avid Carp fisherman and also enjoyed hunting.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Belaire Health Care in Gastonia for their loving care of Ricky. Left to cherish his memories are his brother, Glenn Wright; sister, Brenda Watts; nieces and nephews, Gregory Wright and wife, Heather, Nicole Alm and husband, Jody, Bo Watts, Felicia Taylor and husband Randy; 2 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews; special friends, Roger and Norman Braswell, Beverly Trantham, Charles Earley, Johnny Campbell, and Grady Campbell. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Fraley Memorial Baptist Church, 3025 Fraley Church Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Charles Keller.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
