Linda’s Obituary Linda Lingerfelt Doss, 77, of Gastonia, gained her healing surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born November 1, 1941, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Albert and Ethel Cobb Lingerfelt. Linda, a native of Gaston County, was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Gastonia.

She was the owner for 25 years of Love and Learn Daycare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Plemmons; brothers, Maxie Lingerfelt, Tyree Lingerfelt, Billy Lingerfelt, Doug Hass; and sister, JoAnn Sanders. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Lynn Davis and husband, Ronnie, Becky Plemmons; sisters, Faye Sanders, Hazel Cribb; grandchildren, Brente Davis and wife, Misty, Erin Hawkins and husband, Adam; and great grandchildren, Riley, Zack, and Carson Hawkins, and Mason Heavener.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Greg Ballard, will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia. The family will receive friends, 12:00-1:00 pm before the service at the funeral home.

Entombment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1706 W. Davidson Ave. Gastonia, NC 28052.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
