Obituary for Elizabeth Rose Paul HURST – Elizabeth “Betty” Rose Paul passed away peacefully with family at her side on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, in Bedford at the age of 93, while in hospice care. Memorial service to be determined in the coming weeks.

Elizabeth was born on Sept. 3, 1925, in French Creek Township, Iowa and later raised the family in Omaha, Neb. and Chicago, Ill.

In 1984, she moved to Texas to be closer to family. Elizabeth was an avid Dallas Stars hockey fan and attended several games over the last few years. She enjoyed cooking for family, the holidays, being independent in her everyday life, and not wanting to be a burden on her family.

She was preceded in death by son, Michael Paul of North Richland Hills; parents, Harold and Cordelia May; brother, Carl May, all of Iowa; and sister, Louise Christesen of West Allis, Wisc. Elizabeth is survived by sister, Adeline Robbins of Cuba City, Wis. ; son, Dennis Paul and wife, Becky of North Richland Hills; son-in-law and daughter, Robert and Karen Twigg of North Richland Hills; son, Jeff Paul and wife, Denise of North Richland Hills; numerous nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
