Elizabeth Mae Pyfer, 91, a resident of the Susque View Home, formally of the Flemington area passed away January 1, 2019. She was born in Lock Haven October 29, 1927 to the late Herman and Ella Slagle Rachau. Elizabeth was of the Methodist faith and had worked for many years at the former Sylvania Plan and Bloomsburg Mills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Pyfer in the early eighties, a brother, William Rachau and two sisters, Mary Penny Packer and Louise Mayes. Survivors include a nieces and a nephew; Jean L. (Mayes) Duck, John R. Mayes III, and Barbara E. (Mayes) Barner. Private services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in the UCC Lutheran Cemetery in Madisonburg. Arrangements are under the direction of the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC. , 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA.
